The Thunder (18-20) will attempt to prevent a possible two game losing streak when they protect their home court against the Warriors at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Previously, Oklahoma City was defeated by Houston Rockets by a final score of 112-101 on Thursday night; a game where Thunder shooting guard Kevin Durant had 24 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in a losing effort.

'We struggled getting back. We struggled covering the 3-point line,' said Thunder head coach Scott Brooks to reporters.

'They were getting everything they wanted in the first quarter ... we can't give up a 40-point quarter.'

Meanwhile, the Warriors (31-5) are looking to extend their incredible winning streak to nine games when they clash with the Thunder on Friday night.

'I think our team has done a good job of keeping our energy up and keeping our spirits up,' said Golden State power forward David Lee to reporters.

'And I think it all goes back to having that depth and having that cohesiveness as a team that helps us at these times.'

Previously, Golden State defeated the Miami Heat by a final score of 104-89 on January 14; a game where Warriors Stephen Curry scored 32 points which propelled his team to the victory.

'I think it hits every team, regardless of your record,' said Golden State head coach Steve Kerr to reporters in reference to their remarkable winning streak.

'If anything, it should be easier for us. This has been so much fun. Everybody's playing, and we are winning. It's been a fantastic season to this point so that should help carry us for a bit.'

The game will start at 8:00 pm ET and it can be watched on the ESPN network or online through live stream by clicking here.
