If you are currently rough sleeping, REST can support you in finding stable accommodation and accessing support services.
You can:

  • have a chat with REST early morning, when we are on outreach. The team are out on the streets of Derby Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 5pm
  • come into the Council House and tell us that you are homeless and have nowhere to stay tonight
  • call us Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm on 01332 888777 (choose option 5). Outside of these times use the same number to contact the emergency out of hour’s service.
  • email us on REST@derbyhomes.org.

We work with some Housing Providers who do not exclude those with substance misuse issues.

Sleepers

Derby has a Severe Weather Emergency Provision (SWEP). SWEP is open from December to March offering shelter to rough sleepers. Access to the provision is through our REST outreach services.
